"About five years ago I asked PGW to build me an 1873 in 44/40 with a stage 3 action job. This was my first “slicked up” cowboy gun, after five years of pounding this poor gun with 1000’s of full house loads of Holy Black, she’s still running like a champ and has never let me down. I’ve broken firing pins, firing pin extensions and worn out torsion pins in the carrier and lever springs, but thats to be expected, PGW was always there to quick ship replacements when needed.
I’ve dealt with two other cowboy gunsmiths over the years, both positive experiences, and PGW is still my go to smith for cowboy work and performance parts. I did a stage 3 action job on another gun of mine using all of PGW parts, their instructions and tutorial video make it amazingly easy if you already posses good mechanical skills and have some basic Gunsmithing tools. I highly recommend PGW to anyone, the quality of their parts are second to none and their customer service is outstanding".

"Everything works well! Took the rifle out and shot the center out of a target quickly at 25 yards. Sights are spot on and rifle is running smooth with my ammo. It shoots TIGHTER that my pistol caliber rifle in 9mm (and more fun too). Sure, it's not bolt gun for accuracy but it's awful quick for short range work. Perfect for what I baught it for! It's a beautiful gun and quick, a joy to run a full tube of ammo through! Wife loves it too. Thanks for your work! I will keep you in mind for slicking up my Ruger revolvers."

"Received the lever wrap and butt stock cover today for my fathers 1873. Not even sure what to say...almost speachless. The look on his face said it all. He couldn't wait to sew them on! Probably the softest leather that we have ever felt! Perfect color! it couldn't have been a better gift for him. The personalised birthday wish enclosed was awesome. Thank you for that!
